Your GlassNet subscription will be transitioning to Market Value Assessor on 9 December 2024.

This change is part of our ongoing commitment to provide you with the most accurate and comprehensive vehicle valuation solutions.


What to expect

  • Seamless transition: Your existing GlassNet user credentials will remain the same, and all your saved valuations will be transferred to Market Value Assessor.
  • Expanded vehicle coverage: Access valuations for Cars, Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) and Motorcycles as standard.
  • Class-leading accuracy: Continue to benefit from our latest valuation algorithms and data insights, ensuring you receive the most precise valuations.
  • Familiar interface: Enjoy a user-friendly experience with a similar interface to GlassNet, making the transition smooth and intuitive.

  • GlassNet: Previously, you needed to manually save vehicle details to access them again
  • Market Value Assessor: Automatically saves vehicle details once identified and valued.

Vehicle types:

  • GlassNet: Not all vehicle types available as standard.
  • Market Value Assessor: Includes all vehicle types (Car, LCV, Motorcycle) as standard.

Radar functionality:

  • GlassNet Radar: Displays live retail prices and advert durations to help with purchasing and pricing decisions.
  • Market Value Assessor Radar: Provides settlement figures and current spot prices, with an “Ad Search” feature for average advert prices.

DMS import:

  • GlassNet: Supports DMS import.
  • Market Value Assessor: Does not support DMS import.

Bulk revaluation:

  • GlassNet: Allows bulk revaluation of stock lists.
  • Market Value Assessor: Does not support bulk revaluation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Passenger cars are VAT free, LCVS normally need VAT added to them

We currently have a 20 year rolling coverage for Cars & Motorcycles & 15 years for LCV’S

The best way is by VRM, however when this does not return any results you can use the search tree & then by MAKE & MODEL

No, using the VIN number is not currently available in MVA.

Yes, there are a couple of standard reports & there is the facility to build your own > my account>PDF reports

Standard equipment is included. You can also see the additional options & the list price however this does not affect the values we provide.

Repair Estimate is available within MVA when purchased as an additional subscription.

Our values are updated on a monthly basis.
